fake gore?

hey,
a freind and i are going to attempt to make a zombie film. i was wondering if any of you could give me some advice on how to make fake limps, guts, eatable flesh, anything. thanx alot.

get some pie crust dough, blood gel, fake blood and a roll of extra thin clear plastic tubing (like the size of headphone cords). Get the pie crust dough into a little bowl like thing small enough to go on the neck (for example) of the biting victem inconspicuously for a shot. Cut off a bit of the tubing and fill it with the fake blood. Put this in the dough. Then fill the bowl part with the blood gel. Put this on the neck (again, for example) of the victem for the part where the zombie bites them. That way, you can tear off some 'flesh' and have blood and veins coming out.


As for a fake limp, just walk like you got kicked in the knee by a four year old

Eatable flesh is easy - just use meat ala Night of the living Dead.

I agree use real dead people that way they won't look fake. But make sure you get rights first. Well why use eatable flesh when you can use real flesh it's so much easier to get and use too, the more realistic the better in my opinion. Go for it!

Or animal guts. My friend's uncle works (owns I'm not sure) a slaughterhouse so he gave him animal guts to use.

Yeah I agree animal's guts would give a good effect if used in a horror film and would also give the audience a clearer look on the whole guts thing.

eatible flesh? i think you mean edible flesh, but whatever...

try using cherry jello blood...it's basically jello that hasn't solidfied all the way, plus you can dye it with food coloring so it won't look like jello so much...unless you want it to look fake and cheesy.

i found a recipe for it, by searching on google...i'll try and find it for you...once I do i'll pm it to you..

Yeah that's really cool. I did mean edible flesh. Try and find that recipe happy camper. What about trying to make the dead bodies look more real?
