I'm compiling a list of all the movies I am dying to see, but haven't had a chance to watch yet.
Please add some that you can't wait to watch, so I can get even more ideas (I need a new horror fix badly)...Or...Bitch about the ones that I have chosen :)
The House Of The Devil
Survival of the Dead
Strange Behavior
Dead Snow
Orphan
The Collector
I Sell The Dead
Antichrist
The Stepfather (remake)
Daybreakers
Legion
There are more, but I can't remember them all...I'll add more as I think of them.

I keep forgetting to check out House Of The Devil I've heard a lot of good things from a few people.

is there a dubbed version :p
Oh crap...I didn't even think of that...*sigh*...Oh well, that one will just take me a little longer to get around to...Unless there IS a dubbed version :p
Wolf Man remake looks decent.
I saw some promos for that one...I'm not really into werewolves (except for Dog Soldiers, THAT is an awesome movie...But, I guess we should give up on Dead Meat now, huh?)...I may still check this one out, it just won't be a priority...Thanks for the contribution, nonetheless :)
No Galaxy of Terror?
HaHaHa...I told you that I would never forget the name again, after I finally bought the movie...and it's far from 'new', AND I have watched it a million times...OMG, what if they remade Galaxy Of Terror?!
OH, but ironically, I DID just watch a Sliders episode with Robert Englund in it :)
It's AMAZING how much stuff Englund has done, that most people aren't even aware of.
http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0000387/
I've been rewatching every season of Sliders lately...I was filling in the time that I had to wait for Supernatural to come back from Hiatus...That's partly WHY I need my horror fix...Sci-Fi is okay, but it just doesn't quite cut it.
On a side note - Supernatural is back on!...WOOT!

Movies that seem like they'll be good: Frozen, Dread. The Crazies. The Wolfman. House of the Devil comes out tommorow. I loved it but some peopl
e thought it was too slow paced, which is a good thing if your looking for an oldschool creepy atmosphere kinda movie.

Aww, I hope not...So far I have really liked horror movies with Nazis in them...lol...Seriously, I don't know why...We watched 2 different ones about Nazi zombies, sadly I can't remember the names of them now, but one was really good, and the other was okay...One of them was about the Nazi zombies still doing experiments on people, and they are able to do this because they had developed some way to come back from the dead...According to this movie, that was why they were experimenting on people in the first place.
Also, it made me think of the movie Deathwatch (I'm not sure why), which I absolutely loved.

I think I've seen that one too and enjoyed it. It had a bunch of mercenaries checking out an old bunker right? WTF was that called it escapes me. But yeh that was a cool flick.

But, did you like it at all?...I mean, did you think it was worth watching, or do you wish you would have skipped it?
@Elvis: Yes :D
@ Neverending: YES!...Thanks, you're good :)

I'd say I'm glad I watched it. there were a lot of aspects that worked, a few that didn't. One things for sure, it definitely leaves an impression on the viewer. It's not for everybody, but I'd say check it out.

DREAD, that's another one I can't wait to see...
Oh, I thought you have already seen that.
Anyways, here are some my preferences:
Grace (2009)
Deadgirl (2009)
Triangle (2009)
Paranormal Entity [Asylum's take on Paranormal Activity...decently amusing & creepy!]
Hush
The Burrowers

OMG, I am so embarassed...I DID watch that one, and I really liked it (I had to actually check IMDB to remember which one that was) :o...I watched it because I read what YOU wrote about it...Wow, my brain is really slipping...lol
As for these:
Grace (2009) - I read about that one, but don't remember what I read...I think I was interested, but not too enthusiastic
Deadgirl (2009) - I plan to skip this one
Triangle (2009) - I REALLY need to watch this one, thanks for reminding me...I watch anything based on the Bermuda triangle, and I own several 'triangle' movies, in fact the last one I bought (a few years ago) was called 'Triangle' also...I know that I haven't watched this one yet :p
Paranormal Entity [Asylum's take on Paranormal Activity...decently amusing & creepy!]
Even though I didn't like Paranormal Activity very much (I honestly thought it was way too slow, and uneventful - I'm trying not to say "boring" because NE hates that...lol...But, honestly...It was BORING!), I DO like what Asylum does with other people's movies...I still haven't found Asylum's version of War Of The Worlds, and I would love to see that...Thanks for also reminding me to look for that one again :)
Hush - I'll have to read about this one
The Burrowers - This sounds familiar, but I'm not sure what it is
I appreciate the new ideas :)
HaHa...I just called Dustin at work to tell him what I did...I said, "Can you believe that Roshiq had to remind me that I had already watched Dread?!"...Dustin said, "But, that's right on course for you, I'm sure no one at the forum is surprised"...I couldn't be mad, cuz it's kinda true :D

I wouldn't really consider Antichrist a horror film....
Eden Lake and Mum&Dad are 2 great Brit films if you haven't seen them..

Oh, I DID watch Mum & Dad, but that was a few months ago...That was a REALLY creepy, twisted movie...It surprised me quite a bit.
I haven't seen Eden Lake, but I will definitely see what it's about...Thanks :)

lolz.
Grace is pretty dark & atmospheric and one of the few best horror from last year. I liked that.
Triangle is not a film about the Bermuda Triangle, it's just an interesting thriller with a circular plot of recurring gruesome events on an abandoned ocean liner.
Why you planned to skip Deadgirl?...not clear.
And I think every lover as well as hater of original Paranormal Activity here may enjoy Asylum's Entity. Expect nothing from it, you'll surely have a good time.
I haven't seen Eden Lake, but I will definitely see what it's about...Thanks :)
what!?!..then add it on your list as a first priority. ;)

Thanks for posting this thread Rayne...I really don't have much to contribute at all, but I've been slipping farther and farther away from modern horror lately and I've been dying to catch up. Hope you don't mind if I jack your list, haha.

I've got a copy of Giallo but haven't watched it yet. I'm hoping its along the lines of Sleepless whcih I loved. The Card Player and Trauma blew but I liked his Masters Of Horror stuff.

Daybreakers was more of a police/medical drama with vampires IMO, but I dug it. The Stepfather remake? Really? I must be missing something because I thought that one would turn out to be terrible.

WHOA! I have so much to catch up on in this thread!...Thanks a billion, everyone...I'll get to this as soon as I have more time...I'm gonna notepad a condensed list of the movies you're throwing at me when I get a chance...You guys are awesome, and you have helped tremendously :)
Also, I saw trailers for 2 new movies last night, that looked awesome...Dustin said they aren't out yet, I'm gonna see if he remembers the names so I can share them with you (yes...I forgot already :p)

I'm really looking forward to seeing "The Crazies" (it opens this Friday), as I'm a big fan of the Romero original. Too many people don't even realize it's a remake - if you haven't seen it, I believe it was just rereleased on DVD; I highly recommend checking it out. It's chock-full of low-budget awesomeness! :p
The new one's got a bigger budget ($12 mil, I think), so it won't have quite the same feel I'm guessing - but the trailers look fantastic.

Just had to check this thread to decide what to watch tonight...We can mark some of these off of our list now...Thanks for all of the suggestions, there are some REALLY good ones here
On a side note...Asylum's Paranormal Entity was better than Paranormal Activity, but it still wasn't all that great
OH and one of those movies that I saw a trailer for, which I mentioned in my last post in this thread, was Shutter Island...I still don't remember what the other one was
We watched [Rec]2 and 'House Of Bones' last night...Both were pretty decent, but the first [Rec] was SOOO much better than the second.
