Just counted up my collection and I have 100! This does include a few videos; Halloween 5/ Star Wars Original Trilogy Gold Edition.

It's small compared to many of yours *Cough* URGE *Cough* but I'm rather proud.

Nice milestone.

VHS is still the dominant portion of my collection and probably will be for a long time. I tend to buy more DvD's though these days, but I'm still always adding to my video collection. By the time I've got as many DVD's as videos I'll probably start a blu-ray collection. Probably everyone will have there films stored on hard disk or somethin' by then, if they haven't already, so I'll still be a step behind. No idea how big my collection is though, can't be arsed to count.

I have maybe a dozen dvd's and half a dozen vhs. No point in buying movies I will only watch once, so I only buy my favourites.

i put my DVDs, Laserdiscs, HD-DVDs and Blu-rays in a database and i've been religiously keeping it up to date.

(i'll do the beta and VHS some day)

i included multi disc sets and box sets as one line item.

all in all i have about 6100 entries. but i think there's probably another 500 - 1000 titles in there thanks to the box sets.

Yeah, I still do it. I keep it up pretty strictly, too.
Looks like I'm at 462 right now.

I just went through a quick count of mine and I came up with 168 but I'm sure I'm off by a few numbers. Not to mention I know I've loaned out a few that I never got back.

Congrats, FC! that's a good start.

It's been almost a year since I haven't count or updated my list/collection (http://sanjidparvez.dvdaf.com/). I guess it's now probably more than 2000!!:)

I'm going to religiously try to buy at least one DVD a week. Same deal with vinyl.

When I get a job I am sooooo doing this.

Thanks everyone. Wasn't sure if this would get attention or not :D

I still have that programme on my computer for adding DVDs etc, although haven't used it much lately.

I count them as I bought them. There I some where an entire season is just one and yet a few episodes of the same programme (different season) also count as one. Like I say, I count them as I buy them. If they come in a new box then they're another one.

Anybody else have a special arrangement for them. I do it simply alphabetical. My books are a different story. They're alphabetically by if I've read them, how much I liked them AND if they're a series.
