For me, it would be a tie between "Trick or Treat", "Fright Night" and "Shocker".

Iggy Pop's "Love Transfusion" was my primary reason for liking the Shocker soundtrack so much.

Halloween, and NOES have great soundtracks i think. Also a fan of The Thing (john carpenters remake), ill think of more later.

I guess the closest one for me would have to be the 'Freddy vs Jason' soundtrack.

Killswitch Engage, Chimaira, Lamb Of God, In Flames and Sepultura.

That's about it.

Everything else blows.

Sam haven't i agreed with you on this in like 30 BILLION threads? Seams like we've talked about this soooo many times. Music at the end...with the thunderstorm....yada yada.....opening scene when no ones around.....yada yada.......great soundtrack....helps the mood of the movie....yada.......................yada.......?:c onfused:

I can always appreciate ANYTHING original, good horror soundtracks or otherwise.

I forgot about Philip Glass's superb work on Candyman.

and probably others, but those are the only ones I can think of right now.

And I didn't mean "There haven't been that many", I meant "Well, maybe if there weren't that many then it wouldn't have been brought up that much".
