Anybody else like 'em?
When I was a kid, they were my absolute favorite. First KISS album I ever owned was Love Gun. I thought Gene Simmons was a fucking God. LOL I even had KISS ViewMaster reels. These days, they don't appeal to me as much. I still listen to their classic albums though. I think that, what I liked most about them was the fantasy aspect. There are far too many bands that look as if they crawled straight out of bed and onto the stage. KISS was in a class all by themselves. I thought they were really unique in their style. I know that I keep referring to them in past-tense, but that is because these days, they have become such money-hungry buttheads, that it seems impossible for all four original members to coexist long enough to press an album or go on tour. When Peter dropped out for the last few shows on their supposed "farewell" tour because "The Greed Twins" (Gene and Paul) refused to pay him what he deserves, I pretty much lost interest in any of their current activities.
