Rue Morgue Magazine raved about this short film, Eel Girl. I just checked it out. Almost wish it was a bit longer (then it wouldn't be a "short" film - heh)... Pretty good/gross make-up and costuming. Interesting creepy/sexual mood. Considering the rec from my favorite horror magazine, I was expecting a little more, but it wasn't too bad. Thought I'd share. I think that people who make successful short films should have their work seen. Enjoy and share what you think!

The idea was alright but the delivery was a bit off, for me. Lost interest at the two minuite mark. Any mood they had managed to develop was quickly lost when it turned into a lame music video. Thought the set was good though and the make-up was alright.

Yeah, I think you're right; the music was a little over-powering and distracting. I think that they could have done a little better with an original score.

Special effects- not very well done. Better editing and shot choices could have helped the eating scene quite a bit.

The guy playing the dr. is a bit obvious. Licking the lips way overdone. Does anyone really do that?

As it is, it's not very substantial- even for a short film. I've seen better work from members of this forum.

Good job on the set design and everything though.
