Anyone seen it?
I've checked out the first couple of episodes...
While I don't think it's that bad or anything it definitely does have a very "spinoff" feeling about it, one of my favourite characters hasn't made a re-appearance (Ted), and the "new" cast doesn't really quite hit the spot.
I find it a little unusual that they seemed to take a bit of time in the last two series before this one to introduce new characters which seem to have dissapeared except for the one blonde chick...
As well, Carla seems to have vanished into thin air and not so much as been mentioned as yet.
Cox, seems like he's just re-using old material, his character seems "tired".
And what the hell is with them using the same theme song but not the same band ('least it sounds nothing like), this seems almost rude to 'em...

Overall if you haven't seen it, it's not a bad attempt or anything, but I don't see it running past a season. Give it a look just don't set your expectations too high.

I hate it. They could have rode off into the sunset, but instead it will be cancelled. The end of Season 8 was a good way to end the show...and now it's ruined.

I wanna like it cause I'm a huge Scrubs fan but I'm finding it hard to.There's so many things missing that it just isnt the same.

Ted make a apperance in the latest episode but it will also be his last.

The Janitor was in the first episode but only for like 10 seconds.

J.D. will be leaving soon.

And the girl that played Carla has stated that she would not return at all.

Plus this new cast isn't winning me over at all.

I liked Jo from the series 8 a lot...but that's where she belonged. In series 8 of scrubs. While I will be trying to watch the latest episodes I don't hold high hopes.

I will admit, there were tears during the last episode of Scrubs, I thought it was perfect. This is well and truly jumping the shark. I may well just do what I did with Halloween Ressurection and wipe it from my memory. The idea of the last episode is that although J.D is leaving, life goes on at Sacred Heart. But we didn't need to see life continuing there, as it was J.D's journey we'd been following the whole time.

"Every writer from the previous season has departed the show with the exception of Bill Lawrence and Andy Schwartz."

Got this from Wikipedia

Lawrence was one of the writers that really made the show worth watching though. The characters seem to be adjusting and as soon as we get past the recycled jokes and into new territory I think it will be even better. Still a fan, even if it might not be as good as previous seasons.
