If you get the general feel and atmosphere of the world around you, the basics of the political and entertainment climate, new revelations aren't surprising. I haven't been surprised by news for some time. Heath Ledger's death caught me off guard, but it kind of shouldn't. Considering how extreme young Hollywood partying had gotten and all. I don't think there are going to be any particularly surprising wars for awhile, so babies and weddings will rule the day for a little.

I think that kinda stuff should be kept to yourself, cause seriously all you're gonna do is piss off the people who disagree, or have someone who agrees with you sheepishly nod because they don't want to catch flack about it.
