I have a bit of an old CRT flatscreen...just got a colour bleed issue fixed, which cost me $90 AUD...Though the guy fucked up something ELSE (not that he was prepared to admit fault...so I took back all but $30) and now the TV seems fine, but every time something is plugged in through the AV points (any set) and turned on, such as an xbox, and a dvd player, the screen does gets a "vertical collapse" problem

after about 5 seconds.
This doesn't happen regularly, or when anything is plugged in via RF, and yeah it never happened before the guy tinkered with it.
My only consolation right now is that I have a working TV...not that I really watch TV...that and since plugging in RF stuff doesn't immediately VC it, we're going to try running those other things through our VCR...No great sound that way but it'll be a little more acceptable...just can't afford a new tv for a while.
If there's any solutions though...?
