Been getting a MAME collection going again, and no matter what I do I can't seem to get a working version of Die Hard Arcade...has anyone whatsoever been successful with this?

Unfortunately not...
Maybe I should try a Saturn emulator for it, as I recall it came out on that.

...Damn. Does it initiate and then crash or not work at all? What system are you trying to launch it on (PSP, PC, etc)? Sometimes the settings in the Emulator it's self need to be altered....

I dunno, it gets the same message with most of 'em that don't work - says "Selected game is missing one or more required rom or chd files. Please choose another game".

Though yeah with the Die Hard arcade...it doesn't seem to matter what version I get, same shit.
Thought a diff version of MAME might be the go, but I got the newest one already as far as I know - I remember on an older version of MAME you could "audit" some games and that would make some of them work, this feature doesn't appear to be with the one I got this time.

It's all good though, while I enjoyed it heaps there's plenty other beat em ups out there that DO work.

Not all emulators are created equally. You're not unzipping your roms, are you? That can make em' crash as well... also, see that your Mame Bios is up-to-date.

I guess "STVBIOS.ZIP" is stable and worth looking for...
