Baylee was about 3 years old
We got her in April.
She was a pitbull mix, she was beautiful.
We got her at my daughters b-day party that sponsored stray and unwanted dogs.
Baylee had 2 days before her death date when we adopted her
I loved her at first sight.
My daughter loved her and took amazing care of her, she was sweet to everybody that came to our home. She LOVED my other daughters kitten like her own puppy.

She attacked a dog 3 months ago and I thought it was just a miss understanding between dogs.
She attacked another dog Thursday and the kid walking her got into the middle of it.
The kid got hurt.

Baylee was taken away and put down.

My heart breaks at her death but I cannot say this was wrong.
I cannot call foul here. I cannot put up any argument of unfairness
A dog that is capable of that should not be around children. Period.

I cannot believe I have lost 2 animals in one week.
I have just become completely numb...so much loss this year. Too much.

I can't imagine how hard that would be.

Not that you have you are, I would suggest that this is too early to be thinking about buying any other pets. Don't dwell on the memory of the two who have just died but give yourself time to grieve and respect them.

Blah, that sucks. I'm sorry to hear it. I let my dogs run free (there's an unspoken neighborhood agreement between pet owners) and I live in constant fear of some encounter.
