I heard a John Larroquette voiceover on the newest trailer for the Texas Chainsaw Massacre. I wasn't that interested in seeing it but that voiceover got me really pumped up for it.

No lie! I downloaded this one off the website about a day before I saw it for the first time on TV, and it was the real cincher for me too. Quite chilling . . . .

I get goosebumps every time the scene freezes after the door opens -- the look of terror on those kids' faces is so *real*. I don't know if I *want* to see what they're running from. Also, the quick freeze-frame of Leatherface up close (looking very much like the old Gunnar Leatherface, strangely enough) is quite freaky.

I can't believe I'm saying this (the original is my favorite horror film of all time, and I was soooo against it being remade at first) -- but I can't fucking WAIT till this Friday. I am *there*.

It still says it's based on actual events so that much hasn't changed. And with today's fx it should be great! I plan on seeing it! With my daughter of course, "Samara".

Wow. This got zero stars in today's paper. Can't trust the critics though.

As a matter of fact...I usually judge the horror movies I want to see by how much they don't like them! Two thumbs up, usually sucks--One up, One down, so-so--and Two thumbs down, is usually really gory and senseless! That's my kinda movie!!haha
