I seen funny games about a year ago from a recommendation from this site and completely loved it, but havnt been able to find anything nearly as good since. Im a big fan of the home invasion type movie, iv seen ,them, the strangers, inside, high tension..... all very very good. Any im missing out on?

i would take a look at Frontiers (2007), Them AKA Ils (2007), Wolf Creek (2005) and maybe Eden Lake (2008). Not all are home invasion flix but they are brutal and edgy. Ashe.

BTW The Desperate Hours (a Bogart film from the 50's) is the archetype for the home invasion film. Great flick too - A remake was do in the 90's with Mickey Rouke as the bad guy (as I remember this wasn't so great..

^^ I really liked the remake to be honest.

------

I don't really get why someone would bother only watching post-90s films. The majority are lightweight and lack the grit/sleaze that makes shit like "home invasion" flicks really work and get under your skin.

I wasn't too huge a fan of this. The family went through entirely too much torture, and the pay-off at the end wasn't nearly satisfying enough.

Timber Falls (2007) might also fit the bill. Ashe.
