Well,
it's 3:30 AM - i just got home from a great day. I'm so pumped I'm not in the least bit tired.
It started at 4:00pm when I met up with my friend and went to find some zombies.
In honour of George Romero's permanent Canadian residency and the new dead film premiering at the Film Festival there was a zombie walk taking place.
We caught up with them just before they got to the main stage at the square where the ceremony was taking place.
So i shot some zombies for a bit, then went to the press area and shot George being interviewed, then finally - shot George on stage giving a speech and accepting a reward.
After that was a coctail party with the cast and filmmakers where i shot more pics (i believe i was the only photographer there)
Then we scooted over to the premier, shot the red carpet arrival (complete with zombies) ... and then came the big suprise:
I knew i'd be seeing the midnight screening of the film .. but we saw it in the special section - completely surrounded by the cast and filmmakers. It was freaking surreal, sitting next to a guy who i'm watching being shot in the head.
fantastic experience. I'll post pics tomorrow when i get the chance ..
