I prefer their older albums.. I like "the principle of evil made flesh" & "Dusk and her embrace" their older stuff was better vampiric black metal and not so much commercialized

Dude, I hope you don't believe I like any of those bands. I was just attempting to throw some humor into the conversation. I would keep it going, but I think I hit the bottom of the barrel with Firehouse.
I actually haven't heard that particular Embraced song. Do you like Lost Souls or Transport League?

They're both Swedish metal bands and both of them are from mid-90's through today.

I've stuck with Anthrax for a long time now. Those guys have done nothing but improve with age. They rock just as hard now as they did when they formed and their songwriting gets better and better. I love those guys and have grown up with their tunes.

Anthrax are great! Saw them live twice this year. When they said their new album was gonna be a good one, they weren't bullshitting. John Bush easily secures a spot in my top 3 of Metal & hardrock singers at anytime!

My favorite Metal band of all time has got to be Emporer from mighty Norway. Then maybe Abigor from Austria or Lord Belial of Sweden. Lord Belial, man, who writes more blasphemous lyrics than:
Crucify the angels, Impale all priests
Destroy their temples and harvest all screams
Molest the nuns and spit on their corpse
Kingdom of christ must be burnt and forgotten
I mean really.

I use to like them because I thought some of their music videos were pretty awsome with that fairy tale horror image... However I realized they are like most bands I dispiss... No offense but I can't stand screaming.

I am not a fan of Cradle of Filth, but do like some of their music, do like most of the instrumentals they do.
Just as someone has already mentioned, Dani's voice just ruins most of the music for me.
Prefer to listen to Dimmu Borgir, Obituary, Morbid angel, Old Man's Child. Which have been mentioned.
Like others in these music styles too.
