which do you prefer ?

i have a lot of friends who hate going to the movies because they claim they can't really get into the film because of all the popcorn eaters, chairs being kicked, etc... so they prefer to equip themselves ( when possible ) with a home theatre and just enjoy a good dvd.

i personally love going to the movies just for the atmosphere... for entertainment at it's best ( and sometimes at it's worst ! )


so, what do you think ? dvd's or good old fashioned movie theatres ?

hmm well it is fun going to the theaters especially during a horror movie. i hate to say but im one of those that talks a lot but i do make people laugh so it works out. its usually me and a couple other random people that say random things that gets the crowd going.

ANYWAY i prefer being at home. i dont like all the stinky/ugly people not to mention $9 on that shit is ridiculous. i like being at home with my good food, my dogs and being able to pause it when i go to the bathroom.... i have potty issues i go like 12 times a day..

i live near a military base and my dad is retired so im a dep. well they have FREE movies there so i go usually. not to mush anymore though cuz i signed up for all night classes and movies are at the time of my night classes (weekdays anyway).

As for the beer, I was too young to drink that when I went. We usualy took Coke, Reese's PB cups and cheese popcorn. I rarely ate at the snack bar. LOL

I like watching movies by myself in my room. I only have like a 13 inch TV, but I just love the atmosphere of not having to pay attention to anything else. Plus its cheap to rent

in my room i think its a 27 and downstiars is a 50. its old though so is a 50" fullscreen (not widescreen like all the new tvs are)
