So I've been drawn to these "Escape" games/puzzles for quite some time. They can be infuriating, but highly addictive. They're flash games whose plot is that you're stuck in a room and, through a series of clicking around, gathering objects and combining them with either each other or other objects in the room, you devise your escape. They're odd, they're absurd, and I'm hooked on them.
The Crimson Room (http://www.fasco-csc.com/works/crimson/crimson_room_e.swf) - The first one that I played.
The Viridian Room (http://www.fasco-csc.com/works/viridian/index_e.php) - The second one I played that was a bit more infuriating.
Those two I discovered a few years back. Recently, in a bout of boredom and need for escapism, I discovered a bunch on bored.com:
Retro Room (http://bored.com/games/play/250/Retro-Room.html)
Ski Chalet (http://bored.com/games/play/436/Ski-Chalet.html)
Lab Escape (http://bored.com/games/play/223/Lab-Escape.html)
At any rate - Let me know what you think; your cup of tea? Interesting? Frustrating? TOO much of a waste of time?
I'm going to go find my way out of that damn lab...
