I might've let on that occasionally I have some drunk/stoned nights with friends that sometimes turn into competitions to inflict and bear pain.
It's stupid, it's immature, but we try not to make it so any lasting damage is done so to an extent, we ATTEMPT to make it safe...eg as long as it doesn't end up in someone risking brain damage or bleeding out

To name just a few that come to mind, weve struck eachother with furniture, contact-burned ourselves, punched our fists together, hard, HARD slaps to the face, smashed our wrists together, chilli seed induction to the eyes, hit eachother in various places with an electronic cattle prod, kicks to the ankles, and stapled eachother...that's actually probably most of what we've done?

So if you're reading this, you don't have to say it I already know it (even the one about "you don't have to worry about brain damage, see?) and while I might think I should know better now, I never know better at the time...I don't ever care to.

Pepperspray not being available here is not so much an issue we can't work around, I mean it would be good to go up heat levels, sure, but we can deal with what we can use instead.

What I want to know is, since the fabulous country I live prevents the legal use of tazers/stunguns and the like by anyone but the police, we've been prevented from going further into that direction which we'd love to be able to do.

Now as I mentioned I have this electric cattle prod...yknow...for use on the many cattle I own. It's been a bit of fun and while unpleasant, doesn't really cause the "loss of muscular control" factor we'd really be after.
So, it's just a handheld doohicky about the mass of an average large sized remote control...actually LOOKS like a stungun by design.
Lacks much voltage.

Can I make it so that I can somehow boost the voltage in a device like this by altering the onboard components? Would I need to purchase anything extra?
Essentially if it's safer-than-sticking-a-steak knife-into-a-wall-socket kind've level for myself and friends, I'd love to hear your ideas.
We don't need stungun type levels, just maybe boost it x3 or 4? that should cut it.

Thanks.

Adding: Please keep any specifics to private message, thankyou, don't want any o' those crazy kids gettin' ideas...you're welcome to comment/talk in here though.

I dont know why you would want to but couldnt you hook it up to a car battery or something?

Ok...wait...what?
You want me to shock my penis?

I dont know why you would want to but couldnt you hook it up to a car battery or something?
That sounds a little bit uncontrolled...and like something that might get reported...I was thinking more like, how to mess around with anything preventing the voltage from being higher in the unit...it's a similar enough device, I'm sure there's a way to tweak it.
Looked it up everywhere, all I can fins is pussies settling for cattle prods.

You guys want to torture each other, why don't you just put on a Celine Dion album?

Maybe not a car battery but you could you a big battery for like a outdoor lamp. That would provide enough juice to complete your goal.

And if you need I could give you a few more ways to torture each other.

Haha, "electotonic" obviously I was still a bit wasted when I typed that.

And if you need I could give you a few more ways to torture each other.
Sure, as long as it's not gonna spoil our night with hospital trips.
The battery idea would probably work, but still seems a tad unregulated yknow? I mean if small batteries do the job they do a larger one would either be really fucked or just burn out the device is all.

You guys sound pretty hardout to drink with. Don't think I could handle the jandal...

It's not like...every single time...ha, just tends to be someone saying "you know how that other time we got hurt? that was pretty funny, lets do that"
Probably the one I had to psych myself up for the most hurt the least....stapling the flesh between your thumb and finger...you just do it quick and all it feels like is the stapler hitting you...so much anticipation just for that...Pulling 'em out's a bitch though, hadda get at one really deep one with a fork, actually had a small spurt of blood shoot out when I removed it.

USUALLY, we're a bit more laidback.

make a stun gun out or a camera, one to the neck will wake you up.

A disposable camera will do, I was going to suggest the same thing. Super easy and might do the trick.

I'm waiting for Spalala to come on soon and tell us about an unfortunate anus/ electricity related incident....

Not quite yet.
The camera stungun is an idea, but they only have a very short duration of the shock don't they?

Yep, but that other video shows you how to add capacitors to really up the blast that way you can modify to suit your "needs".

The second video you posted there?
Nice.
I'll have to give that one a look, sounds just like what I need.

Thought if anyone reading this from the states feels like organising to get me a cellphone one and sending it over in a package of random junk (pre-paid) from the states, y'all let me know.

I would totally do it if the mail wasn't checked so carefully now, I can't get them in my state either. BudK sells tons and some of them are quite cheap.

I can lend u my Pear of Anguish (once ya wash it before returning it):

We used to do the camera thing when i worked in a photoshop.

I had a mate who I always ended up doing bare knuckle kick boxing fights at drunken BBQ's - we wake up in bits the next day. We'd go fairly hard but we pretty much had an unwritten 'open hand strikes' to the head only...

There are some shock collars made for dogs that operate with remote control, might give you the jolies you're after without having to build anything yourself.

I think the voltage on those is even less than the cattle prods...might be fun for a try though.
That said, if you know any electricians, you could always run that other question by 'em

I occasionaly run by electricians at work, I think it goes:
Volts throw you and you live, Amps hold you and kill you. On second thought, I'll ask around.

@Cheeba
I would suggest watching the show Jackass. I'm sure you can find a lot of the skits on youtube. That should give you plenty ideas.

Also, if you are doing anything with electricity and shocking each other, you might want to pick up a voltameter, you can get them cheaply at a hardware store. It will measure the amount of electricity running through your "enhanced" cattle prod to ensure you don't turn it into a defibrillator. :p

Have done, but...I dunno, wanna proceed differently...

That makes some pretty good sense right there.;)
