I'm in the middle of a long process for another promotion. This is huge for me, as this dictates whether Amazon will be a career or another passing fad on my way to find some stability in my life so I can concentrate on my writing.

I just had one of the best interviews of my life. I try not to get too optimistic, but the interview I came out of earlier today was probably the strongest, yet most intense thing I've ever been through. I still have two more to go, but I've never felt such a sense of fulfillment from an interview. The guy I interviewed with has a passion for the business that probably outshines my own, which is saying a lot. He challenged me on every level, and I loved every minute of it. Even if I don't get the job, I will take something away from the experience. I feel great and confident right now.

As cliche and cheesy as it seems to say, the future now is truly so bright I feel the need to wear shades. Fuck cloud nine, there aren't enough decimal points to tell you how good I feel. If the next two go as well as that one did, I'm on easy street folks.

I haven't felt this good since I moved back to Seattle.

Cheers,
-Rikki

I think you'll find that this will be an important step to finding what you really want to do, I don't think this is it.
Have fun with the process though.

Well done.

Remember, self-satisfaction is primo uno here. Give it your best shot, and let luck and life dictate the rest. All the best for the next two from here. I am sure you ll do brilliantly in those too.
