I've gotten into The Black Rose Phantoms (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XmTqYBw8PCg) lately....I really love them

i dont really like the Nekromantix because they sound more "popabilly" to me than psychobilly. but they aren't bad.

However Wednesday 13 is terrible! they sound like Matchbox 20 wearing zombie attire.. not a good mix in my opinion..
and Murderdolls have never sounded punk to me at all...

Here is a list of what i consider to be the best of real Horror Punk bands:

- THE MISFITS (of you dont know them then why are you here?)
- SAMHAIN (deathrock/horror punk)
- FLOWER LEPERDS (glam punk/horror punk)
- MOURNING NOISE (NJ horror punk)
- ROSEMARY'S BABIES (horror punk/hardcore)
- AURAL EXILE (deathrock-horror punk mixed with goth rock, poetic hell!)
- PLAN 9 (more of a misfits tribute, but "blood" is a great fucking song)
- DISTORTED PONY (horror noise)
- SON OF SAM (Todd Youth, Davey Havok, London May, Steve Zing, how
could a band with a lineup like this not be good?)
- AFI (late 90's era only, later became indie pop)
- MISFITS (GRAVES) - a great band but should have had a different name.

anyways thats my two cents...
