I love attending Horror conventions though I will say that lately some of the guest lists leave alot to be desired. My boyfriend and I will be attending Chicago's Flashback Weekend thins year though there is a convention here in Orlando Florida called Spooky Empires blah, blah weekend. I am curious as to how many of you would pay to get Boris Karloff's daughters signature.
Anyone else attending any cons this year?

I'll be going to Monsterpalooza (http://www.rubberroom101.com/monsterpalooza09/) at the end of this month. It'll be my first real horror show, but I've been going to comic conventions for...well, a very long time.
I'm there to exhibit, selling copies of MURDER MOON, my first western/horror graphic novel (http://www.highway-62.com/Strangeways/2008/01/strangeways_murder_moon_previe.html) and telling folks about THE THIRSTY, the second book which is also a webcomic (http://robot6.comicbookresources.com/strangeways) that's running right now. You can read the entirety of that one for free as it's being published, and you can read the first chapter of the first book by following the link above. I'm also giving away copies in a weekly contest that you can still get in on.
Anyone from the LA area going to be there? Stop by and say 'hiya'. I'm still not sure what to expect from a horror show versus a typical comic show. But y'all can't be scarier than Green Lantern fans, can ya?

I take offense, I am a horror and Green Lantern fan.

Wouldn't that just mean that you're extra-scary?
