Done as a partner project with a fellow painter, I drew it with a distortion of proportion for effect in my own style, and he finished it by painting it in his own style(mixed media on canvas.)

As big horror and TCM fans , we chose to present Leatherface in his 'dinner climax scene' mask from the original Tobe Hooper film, as we have both always found this one more disturbing than even his well known skin-stitch mask.

It stands 6foot 8in. by 4foot 3in., and as such will only be available for local pickup by someone with a truck or van in Los Angeles, unless you wish to pay shipping charges to wherever you are through FedEx or UPS.

There's some potential here, but honestly dude...nobody's going to pay $1000 for that.

It really does look like the work or 2 different artists - and it suffers by between trapped between visions. If you went full out with either the abstract qualities that parts of it are displaying or the more realistic feel it has in places, you might have something cool.

As is, it looks like you either wanted to do something offbeat and couldn't figure out what to do with the body, or vice-versa: you wanted to do something realistic, decided you couldn't pull it off, and finished in a rush.

Like I say...it's not utterly terrible by any means. But I'd be more interested in seeing something more coherant.

Everyone's a critic! I think it's a competant example of expressionist portraiture. It's a bit hard to tell scale from the pics, but it looks like a large canvas. I bet somebody will buy it. Maybe not for $1000- but in the range.

I think it's a hideous degradation to paintings everywhere.

It's kinda cool but I wouldn't even pay $100 for that.

Fans of the deceased painter Basquiat may dig this style.

Done as a partner project with a fellow painter, I drew it with a distortion of proportion for effect in my own style, and he finished it by painting it in his own 'Basquiat'-style .

As big horror and TCM fans , we chose to present Leatherface in his 'dinner' climax scene mask from the original Tobe Hooper film, as we have both always found this one more disturbing than even his well known skin-stitch mask.

It stands 6foot 8in. by 4foot 3in.

It is for sale for $500. I am in Los Angeles and can meet in person with anyone interested in seeing it there.

Well, if ya can't post a picture of a picture you painted of Leatherface in a Horror Art forum, where CAN you post it?

(Yes, I know he's posted it before.)

Easy there 'The Return',

I'm not a scammer or spammer. I am for real and so is this sale.

I am only still trying to sell it, and have reduced the price. I appreciate all the feedback good and bad.

And thank you 'Neverending' for the earlier compliments.

I've certainly seen a whole lot worse, really, it's not that bad-just different and sometimes that's all it takes. You never know what someone will buy.
