Did anyone here watch the show?
I haven't seen the original (but might, on account of it having a follow up, and being cheap enough now on dvd, and I'd like to check out the follow-up series) so I don't know how the USA one rates on comparison, but I liked it.
Cool, weird sci-fi vibe to it...some hopeful moments, some terrible moments, it's funny, warm, and had some cool storylines and a great fucking soundtrack.

Saw the finale last night.
Bit strange, no?
I mean I suppose it was an alright way to wrap it up "early", and it wasn't like he was really "leaving" in the end...

For those who have seen the UK version to the end, I's strongly recommend checking out the last episode of the US version, it's a trip.

Good show overall, now on my dvd list.

Watched most of the two seasons of 'Mars in the UK, which was brilliant, but only caught a little of the follow up series Ashes to Ashes, which was set in the early eighties.

Didnt actually know there was a US version, will defo keep a lookout for it.

Not happy to hear that there was a remake of the show, but I'll have to watch it. The two series we had here were very good, and so is Ashes to Ashes.

Yeah, check it out - there's enough difference so that it won't feel like a rewatch...you'll either love or hate the ending.
