worst/favorite nightmare

Last night i had a rather violent dream, and it inspired me to find out what the terrorizes the deviants here at HDC when the lights go out. Last night's dream, though not my worst, consisted of my watching a scene at a stop and rob where three guys come in and gun-blast two patrons that were shopping there. When one of them tried to get up the killers again riddled the two bodies with bullets. The scene then starts over again, with me as one of the patrons. i knew what was about to happen, but continued to shop. The guys came in right on cue and blasted us twice with bullets. Afterwards, though i was dying, i tried to get up only to see a little white gelly dripping from my head. Then one of my friend's (shooter???) came in and asked if i was stupid or something for trying to get up while dying. Then i woke up. Not my worst/favorite dream ever (still trying to decide on one) but still pretty disturbing. Let's hear some more...

I have had really aweful nightmares about drowning ever since I was little. No doubt because I was pushed into the deep end of a pool. Most of the nightmares consist of me feeling pretty relaxed about swimming and then I go to get in the shallow end only to find it's actually the deep end. From there it is just flash backs from the day I almost died.

I can't remember the last time I dreamt. Or at least, the last time I remembered a dream I had.

I never have really bad ones. I've had one or two where I've had to kill a family member or a pet.

one dream i was like on a pier in the air, it crumbled and i fell all the way down into an ocean with a staduim of people around me cheering.

that one was weird.


but the worse one for me was when i was a kid i woke up in my dream inside a black cube. the walls were ashy and there was no exit of any kind. so in the dream i was crying feeling my way against the walls trying to feel for a door handle. thats one i wont forget.

Reminded me a bit of a dream I had a few months ago that I have been dying to talk about.

I was with Derek, his sister, Dad and Dad's fiancee. We were on a dock over some very dark water. I walked to the end of the dock where I saw what I thought was a small black octopus. When I reached out to touch it, it shrank back from my fingers into a black fog. The octopus didn't talk out loud but it was telling me that it was afraid of the water. I was finally able to touch it and it stuck to my fingers like that mirror goo from The Matrix. Then there were many more of these octopi and I realized they were made out of the night sky, and were twinkling because there were stars in them and for some reason I intrinsically knew they were ancient ones from Lovecraftian lore and I woke up and laughed.

i never have 'scary' nightmare anymore - more anxiety nightmares. my dream last night was that my father called me and said he was planning to commit suicide. my only hope was to catch a flight to see him and talk him out of it but then i was in this massive and confusing airport trying to find my gate (and yes i have been traveling a lot lately).

The nightmare I had last night involved by brother getting kidnapped and cloned multiple times by a witch. I was speaking with a paranormal investigator who was a complete idiot and eventually I went home to think about what to do. I found all these pictures of me, but it wasn't me. Well it was me, but in places I had never been before. I went to sleep (yeah one of those nightmares) and woke up to banging on the door. I went down to look at who was at the door when it swung open pinning me to the wall, it was the witch. :(

I remember having a nightmare over and over again when I was about 5 years old. There was a giant man standing in a room of mirrors and he was made completely of sweet potatoes. This "Sweet Potato Man" proceeded to suck my entire family into a giant vacuum cleaner and I was trying not to get sucked up as well.

I had a recurring dream when I was a kid...

I was always standing in the middle of a corn field under a pitch black, cloudy sky. Full moon, typically. There's one big pumpkin growing in the field.. As I turn away from it ( I always see myself in my dreams, I don't know if that's weird or not) I can see it rise out of the ground behind me and become this man with a giant pumpkin head...creepy as hell.. I can feel it behind me and I just start running and running. I make it to my cousins house somehow and I just start banging on the door while the pumpkin head is getting closer and closer. He's feet away when I finally make it in the house..and then I always wake up.

I always loved nightmares.

I've had a lot of freddy/jason/michael myers ones of course but the ones that always stick with me are alien dreams and the end of the world type dreams.

Scariest dream I've ever had was watching a comet hit the earth in front of me.

okay so coincidentally, after writing/thinking about nightmares I just woke up from a pretty freaky one..
My friend and I were standing outside a 24 hr coffee shop, it was probably like 3 in the morning so the sky was black. It seemed like there was way more stars than usual so I pointed it out. While we were looking at them we saw what we assumed was a jet fly through the sky. After that everything went black. There was no electricity and there was no light from the moon or stars, just total darkness. I went to reach for my friend and could not find her. There was screams around me. Before I knew it, the ground fell out beneath my feet! We were falling into like a black abyss! I woke up and couldn't tell where I was...I always sleep on the left side of the bed (away from the wall)and my night stand is right there so I can check the clock. Well it was completely dark and I was laying like horizontally in the middle of the bed towards the wall...Scared the shit out of me lol.

Just thought it was weird after talking about nightmares to have one. I haven't had one in quite a while.
