Ok, this is bothering me to NO end. I've been searching online bookstores, Google, Wikipedia, ect. and CANNOT find the play I'm looking for. Thus, I'm turning to you guys.
I was at an audition not long ago, and was making small talk in the waiting room with one of the other guys trying out. We got to talking about the pieces we were using for the audition, and the play that his was from sounded fascinating. He had a copy of it there with him and I looked through, so I do know that it exists...I just can't find it.
I remember the title, but cannot find the name of the author ANYWHERE...here's what I know about it:
- The title is "House".
- It's a Canadian play (That was one of the stipulations of the auditions, everything had to be Canadian)
- It has nothing to do with the TV show.
- This part is just from spotty memory, but I'm about 95% sure it's a one man play. The main character is a young man, fairly disturbed...has something to do with magic and the supernatural, I believe.
Not much to go on, I know...but Google can't pull up anything for me. Some help would be GREATLY appreciated.
