These flicks worth watching?

On my ongoing quest to experience as much european horror as possible, I stumbled upon these. Now, they're not available for rental anywhere near, so I'll have to order them. That's why I'm asking you guys - are these flicks worth watchin?

I've just finished watching Dead Snow, is it worth watching? I'd say so, a little like Braindead crossed with Shock Waves in the snow. Lots of gore crossed with humour so if thats what you like then I'd recommend it.

Think I'm gonna order Dead Snow. The plot just seemed a bit ridiculous, but I've been hearing good stuff about this flick, so I might as well give it a chance.

Hey, i'm waiting for both of these to be released here. Movies like this just "show up" in my video shops. There is very little fanfare about these type of underground releases here. Maybe i'm in the wrong part of Australia? It is by sheer luck that movies from Ghost House pictures are making their way into shops where i am.

I just started ordering from Amazon. They seem to have most stuff.

Anyway, Død Snø was great. Great laughs, great gore - really liked it, even though stuff like that usually are not my kind of flicks.

And no, definately not the wrong part. I hear you guys in Melbourne have some massive raves.

This is one of my favourite zombie films of all time. They really did well with the make-up, worked really well against the whiteness of the snow.

They make good horror films in Scandinavia these days. I'm really looking forward to checking out Let The Right One in soon as I find a subtitled copy. The dubbed version has a certain kind of cheesey 80's-ness to it that lends itself to quite a sinister creepy atmosphere, I guess it probably takes me back to when I used to watch low budget slasher movies as a child and the subsequent disturbed mental state of mind that never seemed to go away thereafter.

Must see that before Let Me In, which is also getting good reviews....

I've been avoiding Dead Snow because I suspected it to be a total rip-off of Shock Waves, but on you it sounds like that's a good thing so I may have to reconsider...

Død Snø is what it is, if you go in expecting deep conversation and interesting storylines you will not find it here, this film is as basic as it gets, a group of kids in a cabin in the mountains, huge amounts of monsters which rip them to shreds and gore, gore gore. Is the movie good, no not really, but I found it entertaining. The only thing that Død Snø really have going for it is the fact that the Nazi Zombies move much more quickly then zombies usually do. I mean one of the things that makes traditional zombies less scary is the fact that unless you get trapped somewhere then you can pretty much outrun them, the zombies in Død Snø is rather fast however and that is a bit nice. Other than that is is an average zombie flick and little else. However if you just want a brains to to floor (yes pun intended) horror flick wit lots of kills and rather cool looking zombies then you might enjoy this, just do not expect to get more out of the movie than that. I enjoyed the film.

Sauna I think is very good. It is on my top 20 list when it comes to horror movies, the atmosphere is amazing, the acting is good and the story is interesting. I must also say that the faceless sauna demons are one of the few monsters I have seen on film lately which have really been scary. Sauna is a great film and is definitely worth picking up.
