Other than Inglourious Basterds, I'm gonna have to give this Summer a resounding yawn.

That's true. That one might be worth checking out. I'm just kind of bummed because last Summer was really something.

Awww - You're not a Trekkie?

I'm kinda geeking out over that one.

But otherwise, I agree with you.

I'm pretty much only excited for Wolverine, Transformers 2 and Terminator. Originally, I was thinking the Terminator was gonna be kinda lame, but the new trailer for that blew me away.

I loved the first Transformers, so I am definitely watching that day one....and Wolverine I have pretty low expectations for, but it's fucking Hugh Jackman and he *IS* Wolverine to me.

Wolverine: Looking forward to this. They've done an admirable job with the franchise so far (yes, I enjoyed Last Stand), and the trailers look like more quality stuff. Plus, I'm pumped to see Gambit. Still not convinced about Ryan Reynolds for Deadpool, especially seeing a maskless glimpse of him in the trailer.

Star Trek: I'm not foaming at the mouth over this one or anything, but it has me quite intrigued. I'm a life-long casual Trekkie, so I'd like to see

Land of the Lost: Couldn't care less. Never watched the original, an I'm incredibly tired of Will Ferrell.

Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen: First one was awful on a level that I felt like my intelligence was being insulted just by watching it. Mindless is one thing...but this was just insipid. As for the sequel, I'll admit it looks slightly better - and the effects will be incredible, to be sure - but I wouldn't be caught dead watching it.

Terminator Salvation: I flip-flop on this one. On one hand, the trailers look fantastic and Bale is one of my favourite actors...but on the flipside, the plot sounds horrible, and honestly? Does the world really need another Terminator flick?

Ice Age 3: Dawn of the Dinosaurs: Meh. Kind of enjoyed the first one when it first came out (I was 11), but never bothered with the sequel. Will likely follow suit with this one.

Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince: Stopped reading the books after #5, so I dont know much about this one outside of the oft-spoiled ending. I'll have to catch this one eventually - the first 4 were all solid - but I need to get around to watching Order of the Phoenix first. No rush for me, thanks.

G.I. Joe: The original toys/cartoons were before my time, so I have no real attachment to this one. Looks like a pretty decent, hyper-stylized action flick, no more no less. I'll probably watch it eventually.

Public Enemies: Most exciting one on the list. Love ganger flicks, and the idea of Depp and Bale together is enough to give this perfectly straight film geek a hard-on a mile long. You can bet I'll be there opening day.

Inglourious Basterds: I dont care what anyone says...in my opinion, Tarantino hasn't made a bad movie yet. Self-absorbed to be sure, but I love his style (even if it is lifted in pieces from a bunch of other artists). Awesome cast, great plot for a Tarantino flick, and what looks like some (surprisingly) cool atmosphere, based on set pics. Cannot wait.

There are a few I'm really excited to see.Wolverine being the top one.

The Terminator might be good but then again I'm not a fan of Bale.

I was a G.I. Joe Fanatic as a kid so I'm gonna check this out even though I wasn't impressed with the trailer.

And what is with all the Transformer hate?Yeah it wasn't the greatest movie ever but there has been alot worse that I've seen people praise here.

Yeah, it seems pretty disappointing.

I am definitely really excited about Public Enemies, and Inglorious Basterds should be a good time.

Let's put Christian Bale in every single movie from now on, he'll be like Ben Stiller. Everybody loves Ben Stiller right? RIGHT?! You people have no vision... We can call it the Summer of Bale! we'll need more controversial youtube videos though, but we know a guy.

Comedy with Ben Stiller and Christian Bale about a california surfer who loses his job and has to help his lost uncle jim on his farm! It will be like Son in Law II, we can call it Hay Bale.

I actually just saw the trailer for Public Enemies for the first time on Friday... Not usually the kind of movie that would interest me, but I'm definitely intrigued. I like the concept of focusing on how society rallies around criminals. That aspect is what is fascinating to me. That and well Johnny Depp is spectacular.

Wolverine: Looks awesome.

Star Trek: Not a fan of Star Trek, so I have no interest in this.

Land of the Lost: This will bomb.

Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen: I'll wait for the DVD.

Terminator Salvation: This ill be cool. I'm a big fan of the entire franchise.

Ice Age 3: Dawn of the Dinosaurs: Only saw the first one, too preachy for me. Not interested.

Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince: Only saw the first 2, have no interest in seeing the rest.

G.I. Joe: This will be cool. I'm excited.

Public Enemies: This will probably be a cool movie that will have disappointing ticket sales.

Inglourious Basterds: Can't wait. Tarantino is the man. He's done no wrong in my book.

Wolverine: Awesome trailer! Really can't wait for this one!

Star Trek: Also looks really great! I like that they've rebooted this and it's got an amazing cast.

Land of the Lost: This looks like the first Will Ferrel movie in a long time that I am interested in. It's less of Will Ferrel being himself and more being a character. The trailer was pretty funny, though I'll wait for DVD on this one.

Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen: Seeing the trailer on YouTube I wasn't that impressed, but then they had it preceeding FT13th in the theater and it was whole different ball game. There was a lot going on the screen that i hadn't picked up on before and it looked pretty damn cool. I think this is a big screen kind of film if you really want to enjoy it.

Terminator Salvation: I was rather on the fence about this until i saw the whole trailer. Awesome! Will definitely be checking this out.

Ice Age 3: Dawn of the Dinosaurs: The second one was hilarious (I don't remember the first being all that great), that squirrel is awesome and seeing the trailer for the 3rd one (especially in 3D), it looks just hysterical. Will be checking this one out.

Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince: This was my favorite book of the series. The kept getting better except for the last one, so this is really the climax of the series. My mom and I go and see every one in the theater as a tradition and this will be no exception.

G.I. Joe: Awesome! I am so excited for this, I even dressed up as the Baroness for Halloween last year!

Public Enemies: This looks good, but with everything else going on this summer, it'll be defaulted to DVD

Inglorious Bastards: I absolutely love Tarantino! I'll definitely be seeing this!

9: This actually comes out in September, but this looks just amazing! I love stories set in a dystopian future.

Wolverine: Have to see it but I'm not expecting that much. Though it should be fun to see Gambit in a movie.

Star Trek: This seems pretty good to me. I never saw much of the original series but what I did see I liked and the trailer interests me.

Land of the Lost: No...just no.

Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen: I really enjoyed the first one, so this should be pretty good. Hopefully they'll spend some more time on the real stars and make the fight sequences distinguishable.

Terminator Salvation: Have to watch it because it's a whole new take on the series. Don't know if it'll be the same without Arnie. Also, I think they might be pushing it a bit far now.

Ice Age 3: Dawn of the Dinosaurs: Interesting concept. I hated the second one with a passion, though that may be because I saw it on a plane. On a small screen. With faulty earphones. And I was far back.

Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince: Loved the books, haven't hated the films, though I think they kept in some pointless stuff and left out the good ones. And honestly, the posters are terrible. I know they say you shouldn't judge a book by it's cover but seriously, did they just knock that up in 2 minutes using MS paint?

G.I. Joe: My uncle used to buy me GI Joe action figures. Don't know much about it further than that. Looks a bit sinister to be a film made about an action figure.

Public Enemies: Should be okay

Inglorious Bastards: Same as the above. I'm in no hurry to see this.

Nah. I propose Newsies 2: the Next Generation. Shia La Boeuf will play a young newsie who needs to learn the trade from seasoned veteran Christian Bale. Also, Johnny Depp will be something. Stupid Johnny Depp. Get some goddamn sleep! Let somebody else have a job, Johnny Depp. How many Johnny Depps does it take to run the film industry without making movies redundant and dull? More than one!

Looking forward to Wolverine and Harry Potter.
