Hey gang,

We've just confirmed that we'll be screening a BRAND-NEW 35mm print of the foreign film classic that touched a generation, KING KONG VS. GODZILLA, at the Colonial Theatre in Keene, NH on Friday, April 24th at 7PM.

Like our previous screening of THE ABOMINABLE DR. PHIBES in October, we'll have vintage monster movie trailers, in-person appearances by the characters from our NH-based horror-host show SATURDAY FRIGHT SPECIAL, and DVD, T-shirt, and comic book giveaways.

Tickets will be $10, available online at the Colonial Theatre website and at the door the night of the show.

Should be a fun night of giant monster mayhem!

I'll post more information as we get closer to the date.

This just in --

Comics legend S.R. Bissette is generously donating signed sets of his classic dinosaur-themed TYRANT comic, as well as an original King Kong Vs. Godzilla sketch for us to give away at the show!

Here's his blog entry written in anticipation of the event:

Just bumping this one up, as the screening is only three days away.

Here's a look at the sketch donated to us by S.R. Bissette:

We'll also be giving away six signed set of Bissette's TYRANT comic, as well as an Bissette-drawn issue of "1963", four copies of the AMERCIAN SCARY documentary (from Cinema Libre Studio), a two-pack of CYCLOPS and JACK BROOKS: MONSTER SLAYER (from Anchor Bay), the new HELLRAISER Blu-Ray (also from Anchor Bay), SFS T-shirts and a limited edition (only 20 were produced) RETURN OF THE LIVING DEAD skateboard! Whew!

After the show, everyone's invited over to our favorite restaurant in town, Fritz, who'll be staying open late for monster fans to socialize and ingest mass quantities of Belgian fries and beverages.
