Never watched SLIDERS

...before recently anyways.
Got season 1&2 in a box set for ridiculously cheap price...it's an interesting kind've series...sometimes a bit over the top, but I like alternate reality stuff...aaanyways just onto season 2 now.

Seriously though, Arturo (heh, John Rhys Davies of Indiana Jones, LOTR, and trial of the incredible Hulks "Kingpin) is the shit.
Every episode I watch, I'm just waiting for him to blow up

Used to watch this quite alot back in the day.

You're right about Prof. Arturo, always the most interesting character and the concept was a good one.

The programme started to lose the plot a bit after series 3 (I think it was) so I stopped watching. Still well worth a look though.

Used to really dig Sliders. The first few seasons were excellent, but when they got rid of John Rhys Davies and Sabrina Lloyd, the show started to suffer. And when they got rid of Jerry O' Connell...eww. "What if there was a world where when waiters served your soup they always served it really hot and didn't tell you "careful that's hot!"?"
