Brendan Fraser has been cast opposite Harrison Ford in an as-yet-untitled medical drama for newly formed production company CBS Films.
Fraser will play John Crowley, a father desperately trying to find a cure for the rare genetic disorder suffered by his children. His plight brings him into contact with a somewhat eccentric doctor (played by Ford) who employs experimental methods in an effort to save the children's lives.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, Tom Vaughn (What Happens in Vegas) will direct from a script by Robert Nelson Jacobs, who in turn is adapting Geeta Anand's book "The Cure".
The Untitled Crowley Project will be CBS Films' first feature, and is set to commence principal photography in early April.
