A friend of mine who collects told me that Metro Video, one of the state's best video stores was clearing out their VHS library. I decided to cruise down and have a look. This store for years has had the best range of original print VHS in the country, 26,000 to be exact and all of the tapes are in brilliant condition

For some reason, after two weeks of sales, most of the horror movies were still there. Obviously many in SA don't like the genre
I couldn't believe my eyes. Managed to get dirt cheap some common titles but I had never owned an original of these.

Prophecy
Count Yorga Vampire
The Keep
The Burning
The entity
Amityville Horror II and 3D

Now of course these are not big, exciting titles but I still like them and have never owned an original of these. There are heaps more in the store that I will go back and get next week.

lol - they were playing the Keep like crazy last month on encore ...dopey movie but the music especally in the scene where the father ( the actor Ian Mckeen who played Gandalf the wizard in LOTR .. ) has to take away the glowing cross that held the monther in the keep like prison away from there - Damn , that music ( for that one scene ) was Amazing :) ...then the movie sucked again !!
