I just saw Broken Lizard's Club Dread and despite getting a bad review in the local paper, I thought it was pretty entertaining. If you thought the humor in Super Troopers was funny, this is just more of the same. If you like slash/comedys check this out.

yeah, I'll be checking it out on the credibility of super troopers. We need more totally stupid 80's style comedies!!!

I loved super troopers and really want to see Dread. Heard club med tried suing Broken Lizard for defamation of their name and services. Lol. People really need a sense of humor. Dont see hockey leagues suing Jason over defamation... though hockeys pretty damn violent at times....!

I didnt follow the case, but I'm willing to bet "med" didn't have a leg to stand on in that one...

Nope. Judge basically laughed em out of court, but they got some advertising, which is what I think the wanted all along

The advertisements for it make the movie look stupid as hell, but I'll probably see it anyway.

I've heard from a lot of people that it's really funny, so I'll see it over the weekend sometime.

In that it's a "modern" older-era rerun movie in which people get killed, yeah....other than that, not really...

Just wanted to state for the record that while I said THIS
"yeah, I'll be checking it out on the credibility of super troopers. We need more totally stupid 80's style comedies!!!

PRIOR to seeing the film, UPON seeing the film, It sucks.
Read my OTHER old thread in here to see just how much.
I couldn't let this thread die without stating how FUCKING aweful this movie is, once again.

Death to club dread forever!

I found this movie hillarious, the comedy is really simple and childish but if your a fan of that than you will love it too. It is pretty gorey for a comedy.

Okay, I just re-watched this movie last week and for the life of me, I can't imagine what I was thinking when I posted this thread. (I must have been fucked up or something.) There's like 2 funny parts and the rest of this movie was really fucking stupid.

I apologize to anyone that went and saw because of me. I led you astray.

I guess some people just don't have a broad sense of humor, this was one of the funniest movies I've saw in a long time. Bad Santa however being the greatest :) .

Man, do NOT put this on me....if you liked this film, your sense of humour is TOO broad, and includes the UNFUNNY kind.

what i have found almost appalling is that there are pople who thought "Shriek if you know what i did last friday the 13th" was funny.

In fact, i cant understand anyone who doesnt think it was a terrible, shitty, unfunny piece of rotting testicle. a sweaty one with dingle-berries.
