List your favorite car, and car you currently own. But check to make sure it hasn't been previouslly listed, we don't need 30 some off pictures of the same car.
Favorite car, I'v alwas been fond of the 3000gt/Stealth, but I currently drive a 1979 Pontiac Firebird.

I think it might actually be an australian model, there's quiet a few of them over here. If u don't know what it is, it's KINDA like the "interceptor" in Mad max....but a lot cooler and meaner looking.
No car presently....got a nice bike tho???

IROC stands for International race of champions.
They hold an IROC series of races every year and have drivers from nascar, cart and irl race in them.
IROC's have been Chevy Z-28's, Dodge daytona's and Pontiacs.

Wow, you guys are the kings of muscle-car-dom. I've always wanted a car like that.
Personally, I have always loved the Mercedes, and again, I'll tell you why. They are one of the best built, and thus safest cars on the road. They have driver side, passenger side, and side airbags (top to protect the head and bottom to protect the sides). Plus!! these babies can get up and go. My mum drives a new Mercedes and occaisionally I am allowed the priviledge to drive it. I can tell you that it's like a driving orgasm. I swear. It's sensational. I've also been allowed to drive their 911 Porsche Carrera.....mmmmm
However, I drive a 2004 Ford Sport Track...and it's red.

I had a 1999 up until april, when a moose decided to go for a walk in front of me during a sleet storm. It had a black leather interior, heated seats, 2.75 liter v6, 17" rims (the ones shown in these pics), enough trunk space for a small family :), a a million and one little things that made it the greatest car i have ever sat in.

So you're going to get a gas guzzling truck, instead of keeping your hybrid. You're the reason why the ozone layer is depleting, and there's a nice layer of smog over such places as LA.

LMAO! you just proved you have no idea what YOUR talking about. Check out ANY of the 1993-99 cobras. They cant even take a Z28 or Trans AM. Ive taken many a snake in my own. The '99 was even recalled, while ford halted production, for not making the horsepower Ford advertised it at. While anything with a LS1 from General Motors has always been underated from the factory.
Im not starting a GM vs. Ford debate, god knows we've had enough, im just saying weight has just as much to do with how fast a car is as HP/Torque. And quiet a few mustangs from ford have been on the lower side of the HP standard for a while.

i was just being nice about the ford stuff i'm all for chevys
but when talking about cars years get confused,
when i say cobra i mean shelby cobra,
so what i meant was anything from shelby hauls.
its my understanding you race and i would like to know
what you run and what your times have been at the strip
because i run a 65 falcon with a 429 cobra jet intercepter
backed up with a rebuilt c6 running to a ford 9+ rearend
and i run low 10's, and i will run you any time you want
or we can hook chains if you have a truck,
but i bet you drive your moms volvo.

well OH! Thats totally different. Hey i dont think there is a guy in the world that cant appreciate a Shelby Cobra, especially the old school 427. There are alot, well not a huge amount, of people down here that buy kit car Cobras, then they put the running gear of a late 5.0 in them. Have you seen this?? I talked to one guy about his and he said the kit cost him like 12,000 or so and all the other parts were about 4000, but he said the assembly was the worst tho..... I mean they look JUST like those old 427's, side pipes and everything. Ok enough of THAT tangent.

Well no vovlo action:p but my mom DOES drive a PT Crusier, its PLUM. Its a standard tho, so it can hit a little second gear scratch if you rev the shit out of it.
As for me , and i might as well tell you about my brothers as well, Im driving a 1997 Z28 with alot of bolt ones, nothing internal yet. My brother is driving a 1979 Trans Am, with the pontiac 400 and an aftermarket 5-speed tranny...
Well we have been to the track, but we dont have any UBER CRAZY times like you do man. 10 sec? how much did that cost you, damn!! He ran a 13.6 at like 104 or there, 2.1 60 ft, so you can tell hes spilling a bit, this is on slicks BTW.
I ran a 14.1 at 106, but with....get this: a 3.1 60 Ft time LOL:eek:   This was on BARE street tires, they looked like slicks:o , and 4.10 gears so im pretty sure its a mid-low 13 car if i ever hooked that first or second gear.
I didnt mean to get you pissed of man, i just thought you didnt know what your talking about, but you obviously do.

sorry for getting pissy with you,
here in vermont i only get about 4 months out of the year
to drive the damn thing and the rest of the time its in the
garage so i have a lot of time to find parts and work on it
you know, see what works and what doesnt and when the
snow finally melts its feels great to take it out and horse it,
i never been a big fan of fords but when i saw this falcon
i thought it would be a great project car and it has.
i dont have a scanner or i would send a photo of the car sorry
i tryed to keep it as simple looking as possible it's flat black
with all the original chrome, the only thing that really stands
out is the dual 3inch exhaust out the back, the hardest part
of building it was making a suitable frame because the car was
unibody and i knew the first time i got after it the car would have
bent in half, and i have to take the inner fenders off everytime
i change the plugs. i think i just have too much time on my hands.
Unit 03
04-05-2004, 08:02 PM
Ouch, I don't usually have any problems getting to the 8 plugs on mine, the back ones can be annoying at times. Did you go 3" true dual all the way back? I did a crossover in mine and it sounds alot better than when I simply had a striaght pipe.

i mentioned my lexus in here somewhere already.. but since this thread is back....
my dream really WAS to get a ferrari. im not at all into speed, im into glitz and money. but i am a bit of an environmentalist, and 10mpg doesnt cut it..
japanese cars generally get good mileage esp with the new hybrids. id love to own a prius. its what my parents get me once my brother gets his shit together and gets his license. well i hate the looks of it but 50mpg cant go wrong. anyway ill make it cute and grow to love it
later on, im waiting on hopefully a sweet ass hybrid (or fuel cell) lexus convertible (hard top). i have a thing for japanese cars. i figure thats $60 so with the other $110 left over from the ferrari id hook it up with a system, some diamonds, and some mock suede....... hehe.... west coast customs here i come!! oh and one of those color change paint jobs like black to silver.. somethin like that. black to red , black to pink

04-05-2004, 08:26 PM
oh! what put me in the 10s was nitrous, now that stuff is nuts!
the first time i hit the "go!!" button i buried the speedo
and stretched the cable so i couldnt tell
how fast i was going because the needle just floated around,
I know somepeople think nitrous is cheating, but its cheaper
then a blower and it will make your car pull it front tires off the
ground if your mill is built to take the added abuse. the falcon
is the only car i have ever built that will pull its front tires off
the tarmac.
kodiak
04-05-2004, 08:43 PM
yeah the back plugs are a bitch, right now i have true dual
exhaust but i have been thinking about a crossover setup
but i'll most likly wait till next winter before i touch the welders,
my only complaint with the setup i have is that its very very loud!
because the way the motor fit i had to install outside the frame
longtube hedders.
