Help remembering this movie

I remember a woman named Agnes taking a bath (it might have been a bubble bath) and her geeky husband (who wore glasses) was in the room with her. They were talking about what they were about to do or something. This scene was near the beginning of the movie. I think Agnes was suppose to be psychic or a witch or something.

I think this movie came out in the early 90's. I think Agnes and her husband were getting people together for an experiment or an investigation. My deepest thanks to anyone who can help.

No. Close though. There was a psychic in the first on but she wasnt married.
