I've posted a link to this once before in the general forum, but I thought it deserved a special place in the music thread. The score to Dario Argento's soon-to-be-released film GIALLO (which I co-wrote!:D ) is pretty sweet.

Marco Werba is the composer and this symphonic score is a turn away from the prog-rock of Goblin and Claudio Simonetti. Don't get me wrong, I love the Goblin, but I couldn't be happier with what Marco wrote for us.

The soundtrack should be available on the Varese Serabande label soon, until then check out the snippets on the MySpace page... it is updated with new tracks regularly.

And if any of you have liks to cool scores, drop them here too. I'm always looking for new music to write to.

:(

Oh well...can't try to recreate stuff with every movie I guess.
I'll check this out!

That's how I felt at first, but now that I've heard what Marco has done for us, I couldn't be more pleased. He is a great new talent... which is waht horror needs right now.

I see what you mean, that was really good.
And you know what, I thought it was really fitting of the giallo genre anyway (which I am far from an expert on, but just from what I remember of some of the movies I have watched).

I don't miss Goblin/Simonetti in this case at all, so thanks for sharing!

I have high hopes for this one...I actually really enjoyed Mother of Tears (despite it's silly parts with the ghost mommy).
