Cant wait for The Last Voyage of the Demeter comin out in April. In case you dont know its about the ship the Demeter from Bram Stokers Dracula which the crew is completly wiped out by when transporting Dracula from Transylvania to England. I love Dracula (my all time favorite book other than Salem's Lot). Lookin forward for this movie, hopin its a good one.

Never heard of him before so we'll see if he's any good.

That sounds promising.
It would be cool to see it done with the Dracula story being a big surprise at the end... sort of a Blair Witch Project at sea, or Shyamalan's Unbreakable but with Dracula instead of superheroes. What if, when the crewmen kept turning up dead, it looked like something else was to blame? Rats or a crazy crewman, something like that.
