Great minds think alike. ;)

It was definitely one of the best movies of 2007 that nobody saw.

Good thing you seem so much cooler and less fake than she is. :p

I got my mom a gift card. Complains that she never shops for herself, so she loved it.
My dad - borders gift card.
Older brother - a new cage for his sugar gliders and a gift card to pet co
Younger brother - ziltch. his birthday just passed.

I bought cheebs Lego Batman which we finished in a week and took it back and bought onimushu 2 ha.

Our best mate we gave him a blueray dvd( one that cheebs kept from working with sony), and im still working on this "movie" for him. Basically have taken alot of photos of him over the last year and thought it would be cool to put it together for him. Taking me ages and driving me nuts I must say haha but it shall be complete by the time he gets back from him camping trip next year haha.

Our other friends basically got data dvds with music, movies and such on em.

Nothing for my family just cos didn't have the money. I am gonna get my eldest neice some sorta clothing items and my youngest neice we are taking her out for lunch and down to a shop that sells american candy.

Gonna get mum home for a day just to have a christmas thing with her and she asked for a shiny necklace of some sort haha.

Dad - Wicked/Son of a Witch by Gregory Maguire (a big, beautiful hardcover edition), Tropic Thunder 2-disc, imported Basset Allsorts.

Mom - Pride and Prejudice DVD + book, crazy Moose mittens, Il Divo's new CD

My girl - Tiffany charm bracelet, The Reader book (I forget who wrote it), a mug covered in Shakespearean love quotes.

I always get more excited about the stuff I give than what I get...I think I did pretty well this year :)

I wasn't able to get to everyone--but I picked everyone who was most freezing, and sent them a small thing like a DVD or some music. I did a gift swap with someone on another board, and sent some monster stuff to that person, and that was fun. He was freezing, too, so I sent him a book of true ghost stories, to creep him out and take his mind off the bone-chilling cold!

Gave my wife a Kate Kingsbury Christmas murder mystery, an Anne Perry Christmas book (maybe a murder mystery, not sure), Dewey, the book about the library cat, some pee-jays and a night shirt, a Starbucks gift card, and on her request donated a big bag (18 lbs., felt like fifty as I carried it to the car) of cat food to the local food bank -- yes, they do accept pet food donations. And to my folks, an invitation to New Year's Eve dinner at one of their favorite restaurants. My brother and I don't exchange any more upon a mutual agreement, and my wife's parents are passed on.

Dad - Wicked/Son of a Witch by Gregory Maguire (a big, beautiful hardcover edition:)

Have you read these? Are they any good?

Know you weren't asking me....but I thought Wicked was great. His others I wasn't terribly impressed by, but I still think they were worth reading.

We didn't spend a lot this year, my husband and I just bought for each other pretty much. So I got him MST3K Vol 7 (with his personal favorite episode....The Prince of Space) and The Boondock Saints unrated special edition.

Can't say that I have, but I probably will once my dad's done with them.

That said, I caught the musical on Broadway last year and it was STUNNING. I've seen 5 shows down there, and this was far and awy my favourite - I even (slightly) prefered it over Phantom of the Opera!

Thank you both. I've seen Wicked at the Goodwill. Will probably pick it up next time I see it. What little I know of it sounds interesting.

I gave my girlfriend a new phone, it seems like it's not the one she wanted. Some people are just ungratefull.

I gave a box of bendicks mint choclate collection and some organic ginger and dark choclate cookies from the Isle of Mull.

I haven't got my mums present yet as I need to get to a different country to purchase it.

I picked up a couple of things for my self on new years eve as well.

A copy of Doomsday on dvd and a rushian hat made out of black rabbit fur. Damn thats one warm hat.
