names ryan. i live in denver CO usa at the moment. next fall im going to the savini school of special fx makeup. i listen to metal and industrial alot. i would describe myself as a horror freak, although not a horror SUPER freak. ummmmm. yeah board seems pretty cool. its awesome to communicate with others who love horror. um currnently my top 10 movies are

hey whats up!

I am also seriously thinking of going to school there too!! I was just up there last week to see where everything is at, and I went to "Terrormania" which is Tom Savini's haunted attraction that he runs for the Halloween season (which was pretty cool!) When do you plan on starting, and have you applied and got everything squared away?? I'd like to know what all is involved with getting started and all? What ever you could tell me I would be greatful!

How cool would going to Savini be?! Have you done any work with special effects before or something you just decided would be cool? I would be interested to know about how you got into it...I live to see the s-fx in scary movies. So, tell us all about it--and about your other interests besides horror stuff.

well ive always been a movie dork. when i was about 12 I became obsessed with romero movies. i wanted to learn to make monsters so i bought a couple of books and the ben nye scar and cut kit from a local store. I kinda taught myself how to do general stuff. real basic things like cuts gashes- morticians wax stuff. after a while i kinda lost interest but as I grew older (im 20 now) i found that I always gravitated towards arts. orginally I was/am working towards a graphic design degree so that I could make album covers for musicians. Then to make a long story short my life took a pretty serious plunge. After a very long down point I decided that I had to fallow my original dream of doing FX, and decided to go to Savinis school. I'm going out this spring to visit, hopefully to attend this fall.

Do well in school so you can make lots of money scaring the holy sh*t out of people. Hopefully me! I'm in the market for a really scary movie! And special fx can really make the movie!
