There's a lot of threads about the best make up effects and gore effects but how about the lame ones and the ones that just basically sucked?

anything from the Freddy's Nightmares Tv series. They tried to do some gore on a TV sensitivity, It just sucked.
Not horror but The League of Extraordinary Gentlemen. Where M pulls off the makeup in the cemetary in front of Sean Connery

Just thought of another crap effect:
In 'Mortuary' where I think it's the mum being killed by a poker in her bed and her body looks like a pillow case filled with jam! Classy.

Not so much blood and guts make-up but the fake beard in the movie "Detour" made me just go "The hell where they thinking?". It looked like they'd glued dryer lint to his face.

Thanks Shade, that reminded me of the really bad moustache on the cop in Sleepaway Camp - half way through the movie the actor had to shave it off so the latter scenes he has a piece of black tape instead! It's gotta be seen to be believed!
