I'm currious to see what your own personal films would be about. If you want it to be a book that you're reading or have read, that's fine. If it's something totally original, that's great too. Also, if you have actors picked out or a soundtrack picked out, more power to you. If this topic was done before I came to this forum, forgive me...and indulge me.

Wickedly evil, twisted variations on common fairy tales...Perhaps a compilation, along the lines of "Creepshow" or "Cat's Eye":)

I'd make a silent horror movie. Nobody does silent movies anymore. Either a movie that's just silent like the 20's, or a movie that just doesn't have dialogue like "Hush" from BtVS

Hush was great. I find it more creepy when people don't talk in movies.
I'd make and M. Night Shyamalan or a Tim Burton type of thing. Not a slasher film, and eerie suspenseful fantasy psychological horror type of thing.

Great idea. I didn't see it yet but I think "Dracula: Pages from a Virgin's Diary" was silent.
I usually dream about architecture and cities and would like to make a horror film that plays with those ideas... sort of like Borges, labyrinths and cities and mazes.

I would do Tim Burton-like direction. Psycological Slasher kinda thing. Lots of blood & guts. And with some sort of Sixth Sense-ish twist.
If I ever make a movie, I would kill to have Edward Norton star in it.

A guy/girl has to a an essay or project on a killer who escapes and finds out about what the person is doing. Being a demented psycho he kidnaps the person and goes on a killing rampage to give him ''an inside scoop'' of what being a murderer is like. Possibily like Henry

You sound like my friends! They have the idea and drag me into it and then bugger off and go shopping and totally forget they wanted to make a movie! :D

i'd like to see a horror twist for each national holiday - i'm in the us. there's already a mother's day horror, i don't know of any dad's day, but a thanksgiving horror would be crazy.

Id wantt to make a movie version of Evil Ernie. Unfortunatly ernie would have to be CG (or some WAY elaborate makeup seeing as he is missing his lower abdomin) If he was CG i would want Stephen Dourif to do the voice and Famke Jannson playing Lady Death

Father's Day with Robin Williams and Billy Crystal was pretty horrific
an idea I had that could work for a horror. Make a movie and give it a '2' title. Let's say...Monster of Death 2 (only a GOOD title). And in the advertising, bill it as the long awaited sequal to the under smash hit. Build it up like this the whole time. Don't let one utterance about the movie slip promotion-wise without saying how everybody loved the first one and how this is a really long-awaited sequil. Movie opens, in theory, it does great at the box office. Then, get the same people and make Monster of Death, and "re-release" it. If the movies are good, they'll make HUGE money, the "first" one especially

Funny you mention this, I have actually been working on 3 horror screenplays.
One is a zombie flick based on the They Hunger games.
Another is a serial killer flick
the last one is a cross between half-life and aliens :)
