Just wanted to warn my fellow horror movie fans that there is a site called learmedia.com based up in Canada that sells dvdr's. I have been looking for an uncut copy of Confessions of a Serial Killer on disc for a while they had one. Unfortunately their copy is of horrible quality, quit expensive, and it is edited.
About two years ago I bought a PAL copy from Xploited Cinema, I was very excited until I played it and realized that every single grizzly murder was cut out. Instead of showing the murders the film would turn black and you would just hear a scream. When I informed Xploiteded cinema about this they let me pick another movie for free and took Confessions off of thier catalog immediately. They treated me with great respect.
I emailed Lear Media about how Xploited copy was cut, and expressed to them that I wanted to absolutely sure that they had the full uncut movie before I made the purchase. They assured me that they did have the uncut movie, and even went so far as to show me the running time of their disc and compair it to IMDB which listed a running time that was five minutes shorter then the Lear Media copy. So I ordered a copy. Boy was that a mistake. The pixels freeze every other second making any moviement by anything in the film very annoying, and it was the same old cut version of the film. The cost? $35 with shipping.
So stay clear of this site unless you want to be ripped off!

Correct me if I'm wrong, but are you saying that you got ripped off by buying ripped (IE Illegal) copies of movies?
because if the answer is "yes" then that is hilarious.
what is this.....BIZARRO SPAM ?

I don't even know how to respond to this. At least all the one time "see my movie" indie film guy posts, I can be annoyed and express my annoyance, but this ? Weird.

only $35? You are nice. He seems dumb enough to have paid 100 at least.

I don't know why people pay $$$ for DVDRs when you can just DIY with ConvertXtoDVD and get some torrents in action. I think my tape of Confessions Of A Serial Killer is uncut I put it on a disc for a couple of people for some trades. It's a great flick that got eclipsed by Henry when that was released a few years later.
