Lets post in here some great or some weird..maybe dumbest or saddest thing
that happened to us in 2008..a rememberence thread that we want to
forget..if you know what i mean..

Highlight for me:
Spending 3 glorious months in Egypt ..receiving so much love and attention
that I became so spoilt.

Lows:
getting sent home obviously and leaving my loved one behind.
work
family members getting sick and senile

Boasting:
My 15 year old acheiving merits in her school work assignments.
receiving many awards on her final day of school..
Children studying hard and going into academics next year.
Regrets:
Buying her a damn guitar hero ..[rock star]..
havent had a nights peaceful rest since..

Appreciation:
Friends I have made within the year that has supported me through a few rough times..
Friends in HDC who have put up with my ditziness..LOL.
despite them pissing me off to know limit..my family.
waking up in the morning to a different day.
being in love and being loved back.

I know the year isnt over yet..

[em bored] :o

thats me..!!

Highs: Building my own car port this past summer; joining HDC and figuring out how to navigate the system to a moderate degree; learning how to rip and burn CDs on my new computer.:)

Lows: Watching the boat business dwindle to a virtual standstill and being asked to use vacation time to stay home when there's no work.:(

Highs: Meeting so many great new friends at college, and having a really good grasp on the web design components of this semester.

Lows: Failing big time when it comes to Programming for C#. Sorry but logic just isn't my forte.

_bills, bills, bills
highs:
_my mom's chemo is working and we might be able to rid of the cancer once and for all and now nothing else really matters more to me
_might get a newer car
_get an extra 40+ hours of pay on my next pay check (buying out sick time and perfect attendance hours) so I can get some good xmas gifts for my family

An Iraqi reporter threw his shoes at George Bush. That's pretty damn awesome.

Agreed. In fact I was a bit surprised that there wasn't more physical outrage against the man.
