13 Members = Forum Now Open (sort of)

Well, we've had 13 people sign up for the forum even when it wasn't open, so we figured we might as well open it up. 13 is a lucky number, right?

The site is still being worked on - it's not officially open as you can see - but you are more than welcome to hang around here and talk about horror related stuff. I've been watching a lot of Asian horror movies myself lately, so I'll be posting some random reviews and commentary on that.

As far as the history of the Horror.com site, for those that don't know, this was one of the earliest horror websites on the internet, first launched in 1994. The original creator of the site is the person who started the alt.horror newsgroup back in 1990. That's pretty old school. Hopefully we can get an interview with him about the old days of internet horror at some point. He has turned the site over to us and for now, we're busy working on new scripts and design stuff and all kinds of nonsense.

If you're interested in anything horror related, welcome to the site and have fun. I'll post updates as elements of the site start to fall into place.

What I'm really looking forward to possibly finding on this website is some really good (and hopefully gory) computer wallpapers for many different titles. I'm sick of searching the web for some decent horror wp's, like, I don't know: Guinea Pig Series, Lucio Fulci films such as The Beyond & Zombie, Return Of The Living Dead, 80's Camp & Slasher Flicks, Troma films such as Decampitated & The Toxic Avenger, etc.

Every time I search I come up with nothing but 800x600 res wp's for Nightmare On Elm Street, Hellraiser, & halloween....which, don't get me wrong, these titles are up in the greatest pieces in horror history....but there is more to horror than the top titles.

I've been currently working on a few of my own horror related wallpapers, so (note to the webmasters), if you have planned a section for computer goodies, how would I go about posting my own wp works on the site?

Seriously I need to know, the freezer has been mocking me. It's a chemical reaction I think. Dry ice is so cold it burns. When you put hot water on it it steams because of a reaction, therefor when you touch it it will be so sharp it cuts up, sometimes you wont feel the cut or see blood, but when it gets under your skin it sets up a reaction that burns. I guess, I don't know. I'm a idiot. Ask Clarice, she's the brains. ;) The lovely, beloved brains.
