Halloween pretty much doesn't exist here in the crappy UK. One of my biggest dreams was to spend Halloween in the states. Americans know how to celebrate a real holiday! It's not fair! All we get is like a late night showing of Halloween 3 if we;re lucky and some shitty brats wearing a bin liner for a costume and trick or treating two days too early!

Like many others we haven't got a lot of stuff left but I kept a Taun Taun and Jabba and my cool Snow Speeder! I recall being jealous of my friends Ewok Village and another friends Hoth Wompa and dagobarr. I had the death star but it fell apart as they were predominantly made of cardboard. Hey, I STILL love Halloween. It was a big deal when I was a kid. A really important holiday. My mother made it a lot of fun. she took me to all the awsome haunted houses!!! I was a clown one year, and after getting my pants scared off in the haunted house, I was crying, clown make-up running everywhere. She told me everything was OK, and we were going to go home and then I said "I wanna go in the haunted house again!" LOL I loved being scared even way back then.

Well, the drive-in I went to as a kid, The Comet drive-in, went out of business when I was about 14. they tore it down and built a fucking Carl's Junior in its place. That was in the small town which I lived in until I was 15, then we moved to the city. There is a drive-in here called Winchester. How about Jase And The Wheeled Warriors? Captain Bucky O'Hare? Bravestar? Thundercats. MASK. I can actually picture my home towns old toy store at the time and where everything was! I'm scaring myself.

LOL I know what you mean. Say, did you ever watch Buck Rogers? That was one of my favorite TV shows. Never missed it.

I wanted to be in The Red Hand Gang! Just to jump up and down on the trampoline in the opening credits! Then I wanted to be a Whizz Kid!!! Anyone remember this crap?!!!!!

I also remember I had a video tape that had Charles In Charge, Joani Loves Charchi and Silver Spoons on it!!!!! I'd kill to have that tape back I probably taped over it with some random crap!

Yep had those too - Garbage Pail Kid Stickers - me and brother used to ride on our bikes to the nearest store that sold them - it was a grand adventure! I kept mine on the cards and my brother stuck his over everything. I always wished that the movie was better than it was but oh well.

It's weird huh?!!! I guess the grass is always greener! I used to live near London & Windsor which is better than here geography wise. London is cool, the shops are cool, lots of movie stores and crap and I miss not being able to hop on the train and be there in ten minutes. Oh well. I grew up with the American culture and I love the food you guys get although if I lived in the states I'm sure I'd be HUGE as I'd just pig out all the time. It's nearly a year since I last went to the states and that's starting to depress me as I can't afford to go this year! Bummer. Where abouts do your family live? Have you ever been here?
