Winter Wonderland

I wanna buy these shoes--[I think that's the title--the xmas song where the boy wants to buy some shoes for his mom--but is low on cash and wants to give her that last xmas gift before she passes away--it's a beautiful song]

Edit--I searched for it --It's called Christmas Shoes

Frosty the SNowman

Rudolph the Rednose Reindeer

Like most of you--there are far too many to proclaim a single favorite--I like most of them :)

There's so many songs I like I can't pick a favorite.I do look forward to seeing all the old Christmas speacial like Frsoty and Rudolph on tv though.Watch them every year.

And how can you hate Christmas?I dont really know if they celebrate that in other countries but I love it.Seeing all the decorations and hearing the music just puts a huge smile on my face.

I can hate Christmas all I want. Why?

a) Seasonal depression. Christmas is the epitomy of winter, and winter is so not cool. Unless you mean in a literal sense, then winter is very cool, and that makes it not fun for me. General rule of thumb in the wonter months is that I'd rather be in bed.

b) My Dad gets crazy about finances around Christmas and take it out on me for some reason.

c) Being the oldest child, when my Mom decides things need to be cleaned or baked it is my duty. No matter what other responsibilities I have at the time I have to drop everything and bake cookies that I won't ever eat because when I get upset (see A) I lose what little appetite I have in the first place and won't touch food.

Alot of people hate christmas because of the depression but as for the cleaning and baking my wife gets crazy during the holiday season shes baking and cleaning it seems like every second i try to help but she tells me to stay away thatd help. I love christmas i dont have to do anything and i get to see my family happy (including my wife) Trust me she loves cleaning and especially baking.

I used to HATE this time of year myself, but since I got married pretty shortly after Christmas, I can't anymore. ;) Now I actually look forward to it.

Favorite Christmas song is Father Christmas by the Kinks...seriously. ;) But I also love Silent Night and Winter Wonderland.

I absolutely love winter. The way that when you get inside it;s all warm and snug. The music is great, the decorations are nice, the magic is in the air and people are put closer together. There are always good films out. The open fire in the corner. Television is always good, because they know more people will be inside. I could go on.

I agree totally. The whole vibe of the season is great--the holidays, temperatures, music, fillms, etc. Especially the nice cup of hot chocolate with marshallows you have after helping shovel snow or someone's driveway.

I definitely enjoy the winter NOW, I lived in Georgia my whole life until I moved up here, so I never actually got to experience a white Christmas....and you know, it still new enough to me that I really love it. I actually look forward to the snow (as long as we can stay in).
But Christmas before I moved up here had some other bad memories tied to it for a few years, so it was kind of a dreaded time of year. I'm glad that changed for me, though.

Oh and also have to add Blue Christmas (Elvis) as a favorite Christmas song.
