The HDC Modern Horror Theatre Presents...The Frighteners!

Welcome one and all to the very first screening of the HDC Modern Horror Theatre! Tonight's presentation will be dedicated to the memory of Festered, who initially got this idea off the ground - shame he wont be here to see it come to fruition.

For this inaugural evening, we've decided to show the Peter Jackson classic: The Frighteners! Made in 1996 and starring Micheal J. Fox, Jeffery Combs, Jake Busey, Dee Wallace, and produced by Robert Zemeckis, this cult-classic movie is easily among the best work of the visionary director behind it.

So, we'll meet here for 9:00 EST, and will synchronize our DVD players to start the film at precisely 9:15.

Be here, my friends - this is bound to be the start of a new era in HDC history, and you KNOW you'll want to say that you were here at the first!

I subscribe to Netflix and love their "Watch Now" feature. "Frighteners" and many other great movies are available like "Hellraiser" "Evil Dead" etc. I hook up my laptop to my TV and it's an amazing stream. Best I've ever used on the web for watching films.
