Dreams are crazy!

Last night i dreamnt that a asteroid came down to earth and turned everyone into monsters.

Has anyone ever had just a insane dream or nightmare that they just cant seem to forget?

when i was a kid i had a dream i'll never forget.

in it i was supposed to meet my mother in the factory she worked at that was located in the woods near our subdivision. and it was dark at night.

(my mother was a teacher and there was no factory in those woods)

i got there and clearly remember seeing the rows of dirty windows - there was light inside but no one answered .. so i went back home.

I'm sitting on the steps just inside the door (the 3 steps up to the kitchen .. if you turn the other way there are the steps to the basement) taking off my shoes ... impossible - as in dreams - i was leaning back with both hands while taking off my shoes .... i hear a noise and look around to see my mother on her hands and knees behind the kitchen door about to bite my fingers off with big fangs. thats all i remember - probably had it when i was 5 or 6.



i had another dream where i hear the train whistle on the tracks near the park where i played. again it was night - but for some reason i decided to sneak out of the house to go down and look. I can remember clearly how the scene was lit .. there was a high lamp on a post giving everything an weird glow ... there was a big wooden watch tower thing near the tracks (neither which are really there)

while i watche .. monsters were getting out of the train cars .. frankensteins, werewolves, and draculas .. bunches of all 3 .. just milling about.
I figured out if i could pass myself off as one they wouldnt kill me and i could get away. (this is about 40 years pre-shawn of the dead)

oddly enough - it was the really cool night lighting that i remember the most.

Hmph. Wish I had cool dreams like that.

I had one where the top of my house was covered in scafolding (which was very easy to climb), there were a fair few people there. And bugs bunny. I spoke to him at the top. Yeh, it;s weird, but not as cool as yours.

i had a nightmare when i was around six, in the dream i woke up from a nap and i was in a small black room with no windows or doors. the walls were ashy, and i remember crying against the walls trying to feel for a door knob in this pitch dark room.

I've had dreams where i wake up and i try to scream because it was such a scary dream i just cant scream i hate it!

you guys ever have recurring nightmares?

when I was little I always had a dream that I was in a field in the middle of the night and there was nothing but pumpkins growing. I turn to walk away and I can see this big pumpkin rise out of the ground and it has a body and I can feel it behind me so I start running and it chases me to this house, the family lets me in and I wake up.
I swear I've had it a million times.

And this other one...

My cousin billy and I steal my grandpas car, only to find out that it flies. And the dream gets kinda funny and weird.. all of a sudden Madonna was there and my grandpa and they jump out of the car together over Hollywood. Then billy crashes the car to the ground and flies out of the wind shield and I wake up.
and then another time I had it, it had a different ending.. Like after he went through the windshield the ambulance came and stuff. it's weird. and sometimes he would die and sometimes he would be alive.

I don't think I've had a recurring one in awhile. At least not that I can remember.

but almost every night since I was little I've had either a Freddy or Michael Myers dream. Sometimes Jason, but usually the other two.

during Y2K I had dreams of alien evasions, comets destroying the earth, and natural disasters.
Scariest shit ever.

i've had reoccuring dreams that i was back in highschool .. only the highschool was really weird - i could never find my room .. there was a big cavernous area in the basement with a boxing ring ..

one hallway had a 3 foot wide section that was water .. you could get to your class by going underwater.

never exactly the same - just the horrible feeling of being back in school until i realize (in the dream) that i can actually leave if i want to.




i have a reoccuring theme in many dreams .. or armageddon ..3rd world war - what have you ..

its always different but ont thing remains the same - i'm always seeing impossibly huge airships floating slowly and heavy in the air ... way too big to be possible - but really threatning... and all heading in the same direction ...

in the distance i can see them dropping bombs and all i can think is - it's begun... i have to go north..

When you say during Y2K, do you mean the year 2000 or the lead up to it?

I've had a few recurring nightmares. None too scary. Just when I was younger, a woman that looked similar to Morticia Addams kidnapped me.

I meant like right before the new year in 2000 when everyone was freaking out about everything. I had like nightmares every night leading up to new years.

I have had this dream since i was little,it keeps coming back.In my dream i'm sitting in a hospital talking to a lil boy with cancer,nothing changes about the dream at all.I can never see his face,its a dream i hate to have.I always wonder what it means.....
