Just wanted to say that we just beat a top ten team for the first time since 1990. Go Iowa!

That's all. :)

Wait. I thought u were from Illnois? Or is it that u just follow Iowa sports. If that's the case I'm like that for UMD, UCONN, and JHU-but only JHU for Lacrosse.

you guys suck - - - - damn it! i really thought psu would at least stay in the mix until the end (although it looks like they would have been shut out of championship game anyway). but psu's offense couldn't put it together all the way to the endzone and the defense folded in the second half

damn

Iowa's alright. If you've ever been anywhere in the Midwest it looks about the same, but there's more farms. I like it though. I was born in California but spent most of my life in Illinois, so I'm used it.

Thanks Austin (and nice to see you around!), sorry Zero. I think that's why it felt so good, because you know Penn came in with no worries.

The college area was cool though, lots of places to hang out and party.

Oh, for sure, Iowa City's kicking. It's the life of the state, lots of good stuff.

Gotta love the underdog. Definitely a huge upset. My beloved Cornhuskers are now 6-4 after a win against a ranked Kansas team.. and are headed to a bowl game. Hopefully they can win out and go 9-4 for Bo Pelini's first year as head coach.

You guys played UPENN or Penn State? My cousin went there and I have a friend that goes there now.

All is well, thanks for asking. How are you studies going, Alky?

Cougar- 'twas Penn State.

Ill- good to hear. Studies are going well, taking some more in-depth film analysis classes this year along with some introductory production courses, so I'm moving right along.

Cool. Your classes sound fun. I'll probably take some of those next semester if not next year--I want my gen ed stuff out of the way--though some stuff as gen ed can count twice in other categories.

Are you interested in being a director? Is that ur career plan?

That's the plan, but I'd be willing to do pretty much anything involving filmmaking in order to get there.

Are you already in college, or are you about to enter? Do you mind me asking what college?

Very cool. Same with me--although my focus at the moment is playwrighting for both stage and screen. Perhaps slowly getting my way to the directing area. If that doesn't work I always have my law and politics love to fall back on.

Yeah, I'm a college freshman at Mary Baldwin. It's a small liberal arts in VA. I wanted to try something new. The personal attention (class size), tradition/and age of the school plus it's unique location attracted me to it. I'm a doubling in English and Political Science with a minor in Creative Writing.

Very cool, I'm glad you told me. It's nice to know someone here who has similar ambitions!

I wish you the best of luck- keep me up-to-date!

Same here. Are you a senior yet? Or have you already graduated and are working on things now?
