I get mine from Netflix , Hastings, and Half.com. I only own one movie besides my son's old VHS movies.

I pay roughly $10 a month to use this site called Rapidshare. It's the only downloading site I trust. I've considered Netflix too...haven't tried it yet though.

Netflix, Deepdiscount, DVDPlanet, xploitedcinema (closing soon :( ), Amazon, Best Buy, Circuit City, Borders... basically I just search for hard to find flicks and great deals.

I used to rent from Zip.ca - the Canadian version of Netflix - but then they got pissy and canceled my account, saying that I needed a new credit card. It wasn't declined, they just stopped accepting it. That was enough of that.

Otherwise, I never rent. Usually when I want to see a movie, I buy it. If I do have to rent something I'll go down to the local Blockbuster, but otherwise I buy just about everything. FutureShop, Zellers, Blockbuster...occasionally I'll shop online, but not often at all. Only if I absolutely cant find something anywhere else.

Last count I had about 850 DVD's....I think I'm pushing 1000 these days. And compared to a lot of the others around here, that's measly. Look at Urge, Zwoti, Bloodrayne...they all make me look like a complete noob.

I don't rent 'em, I buy 'em. Usually from Amazon or one of their affiliates. :)

I'm frugal because I have to be. I rent movies first because I'd hate to buy a DVD and be stuck with it if I don't like it. Hastings will buy used DVDs but they don't pay much. Netflix is cheaper than renting at Hastings although here lately, I've been doing both. I have an addictive personality. That's one of the reasons I avoid using drugs and try very hard not to start smoking and drinking again. I abuse other things instead, i.e. I binge eat, get obsessed with using my computer, read and buy books excessively (Paperbacks are cheaper than movies most of the time), and talk on the phone constantly. I don't do all of these things at the same time. If it's not one, it's another. I feel guilty for spending money when it's not necessary. My mother told me she hated that I'm paying for satellite TV and not watching it so I canceled my Netflix account. When I mentioned that to my dad, he asked me why I canceled it. I joined again after that. ;)

I'm trying to download Dark Night of the Scarecrow because I can't find it anywhere else but IMDb. Can you buy from that site?

I had to buy the freakin' movie from Treasure Flix for $15.98! I know I like the movie but I just wanna watch it once. I'll sell it on eBay or to Hastings.

Every time I tried to download it, I got a bunch of porn in the results. &%#*!
