Okay, I know I'm pushing this but I'd really like the job of being a moderator on this forum I love so much. But, I feel that to make an informed vote, you should know a bit about why I'd like to be a mod. Basically, this is my application.
There are several reasons I would like to be a mod on this forum.
The first being that, quite simply, I love this place. When I get home every day I come onto the forum, check all the threads and I see everybody on here as valid contributors. It's a helpful, insightful and mostly friendly forum.
Secondly, as I stated above, I do come on here daily, unless something urgent comes up.
Thirdly, I think I have the ability to be impartial in my moderating duties. I have had to do similar things, and though I'm not suggesting mods are leaders of the forum by any means, I tend to find myself leading groups and being the voice of reason in my day to day life.
Forth, I am quite computer savvy and I am sure that I would soon learn how to operate the moderating tools.
And finally, I try not to get too involved in arguments. I do debate, but I believe the two are different. As stated by HDC Mods I believe, "your rights end where another's begin." I know I have had to be spoken to in the past, but I believe I have out grown that. I do not wish to cause bad feelings amongst the forum, and do not like it when others do. That is why I would like the duty of being a moderator. I can keep this the fun, helpful, insightful and friendly place it currently is.
Thankyou.
